About Jack S. Song
Jack S. Song specializes in business operations and brand-building-- scaling companies and go-to-market campaigns for frontier tech startups and organizations.
He has designed and built a global brand and communications function for several VC-backed international startups, taking Lime (IPO), Grabango, Visby Medical, Hashdex, and Agility Robotics (pre-IPO) to market.
He has also designed and executed integrated marketing campaigns for over 200 feature films.
Jack was previously the political director for the California Democratic Party and was later appointed as press secretary in San Francisco, where he led public relations strategy.
He is a partner and film producer at Flipbird.co, a creative agency and original film production house, and currently has two documentaries in production.
He serves as the President of the San Francisco Film Commission, appointed by the Mayor.
He also designs and leads strategic trade envoy initiatives bridging Taiwan, the U.S., and the EU.
Jack holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

Working as a communications executive for more than 20 years, Jack S. Song has taken his knack for storytelling through companies in the entertainment and technology industries, as well as the world of politics.
“The story still came from a human element, but they leveraged all the existing AI tools to help enhance that visual experience,” said Song, a startup marketing executive turned film producer, in a phone interview after the event. “That’s what filmmaking and storytelling is about. It’s about providing an audience an experience ... and it’s provoking even more thoughts.”
